How much does Eszopiclone cost without insurance?

The cost of Eszopiclone without insurance depends on the quantity prescribed, dosage, and pharmacy you purchase from. The average retail price of Eszopiclone is $336.53 for 30, 3mg tablets. A SingleCare coupon can lower this price to $10.94 for 30, 3mg tablets.

How much does Eszopiclone cost with insurance?

The cost of Eszopiclone with insurance depends on the health insurance plan. You can check with your insurance provider or pharmacist to find out how much Eszopiclone will cost with insurance. In some cases, the cost of Eszopiclone with a SingleCare prescription discount may be lower than the cost with insurance.

Does Medicare cover Eszopiclone and how much does it cost?

Some Medicare Part D plans will cover Eszopiclone, but your out-of-pocket costs may vary. You can ask your Medicare provider or pharmacist what the cost of Eszopiclone will be with Medicare. A SingleCare coupon may lower the cost of Eszopiclone more than Medicare coverage would.

Is there a generic of Eszopiclone?

Eszopiclone is a generic medicine manufactured by various companies, such as Lupin and Aurobindo Pharma. The brand-name version of Eszopiclone is Lunesta.

What is Eszopiclone?

Eszopiclone is a prescription drug used to treat insomnia in adults. It belongs to the sedative-hypnotic drug class and works by increasing the levels of a brain chemical called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This slows your brain activity down to promote sleep.

Eszopiclone is available as oral tablets. The typical starting dosage is 1 mg right before bedtime on nights when you expect to have at least seven to eight hours of sleep. The maximum dosage of Eszopiclone is 3 mg daily.

What are the side effects of Eszopiclone?

The most common side effects of Eszopiclone are unpleasant taste, headache, sleepiness, respiratory infections, dizziness, dry mouth, rash, anxiety, hallucinations, and viral infections.

Eszopiclone has a boxed warning about the risk of complex sleep behaviors, such as sleep-walking or driving while asleep. Other serious side effects of Eszopiclone include severe allergic reactions, abnormal changes in thinking and behavior, worsening depression, and suicidal thoughts or behaviors.

There are also risks of withdrawal (bothersome symptoms that occur if you suddenly stop a drug), misuse, and addiction with Eszopiclone. Due to these risks, it’s important to take Eszopiclone exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not share Eszopiclone with anyone else and do not stop taking Eszopiclone without talking with a healthcare provider first.

This is not a comprehensive list of all side effects of Eszopiclone. For a complete list, talk to your healthcare provider. If you have side effects that are severely bothersome or won’t go away, consult a doctor for medical advice.

Ways to save on Eszopiclone?

As a generic drug, Eszopiclone does not have any patient assistance programs that help lower its cost. There is a copay savings card available for the brand-name version, Lunesta. However, this card only works on brand-name Lunesta and will not apply to Eszopiclone.

Drug prices differ depending on the pharmacy its purchased from. Therefore, another way to save is by checking different pharmacies for the best price. Lastly, you may consider signing up for the SingleCare loyalty program, which provides perks such as extra savings and member-only discounts.
