How to take Klor-Con/Ef

  • Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed.

  • Take with food or right after eating.

  • Powder or effervescent tablet: Mix with water before using. Most powders and tablets must be mixed with at least 4 ounces (1/2 cup) of water or juice, but your specific medicine might have different directions. Drink the mixture right after you mix it.

  • Extended-release tablet or capsule: Swallow with a full glass of water. Do not chew or crush.

  • Measure the oral liquid medicine with a marked measuring spoon, oral syringe, or medicine cup.
