Lycopene is a naturally occurring chemical found in tomatoes, apricots, and guavas. It belongs to a class of pigments called carotenoids. It is available as a dietary supplement used to lower blood pressure and high cholesterol, and to a number of other conditions. This product works as an antioxidant which may help to protect cells from damage.
Lycopene is available in the form of rapid oral rapid-release softgels that are usually used once daily.
