What is Ob Complete?

Ob-complete is a prenatal multivitamin/supplement taken by women through the course of their pregnancy to produce a higher concentration of vitamins, minerals and to treat any iron or nutritional deficiency. Each version of this prescription medication provides folic acid for DHA for brain health, neural tube formation, and iron to prevent anemia.

It works by increasing certain levels of vitamins or minerals in the body. It is taken orally under the recommendation of your doctor or healthcare provider. Ob-complete can interact with certain other medications or affect how Ob-complete works.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about using Ob-complete with any other medications as there are numerous drug interactions, especially a diuretic or water pill, heart or blood pressure medications, tretinoin or isotretinoin, trimethoprim, and sulfamethoxazole.

If you are taking the chewable form of this medication, chew thoroughly and then swallow and be sure to store at room temperature while protected from heat and light.
