Belladonna alkaloids helps to reduce muscle spasms in the digestive or urinary tract, and reduce fluid secretions from certain glands or organs. Phenobarbital acts on the brain and nervous system to slow its activity. It is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome and ulcers in the intestine.
