This medication works by affecting hormones and chemicals in your body that cause these conditions.Sandostatin LAR Depot is available as an injectable suspension. It is usually injected into your buttock muscle once every four weeks. Your doctor will recommend an appropriate dose for you based on an assessment of your current medical condition, other drugs you are currently taking, and your response to treatment.
