Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed. You or your child might take the first and second dose of this medicine at your doctor's office. This is done to see if you or your child are allergic to the medicine.
Take one-half of the medicine at the beginning of your meal or snack, and the rest at the end of the meal or snack.
Your doctor may tell you or your child to limit the amount of starch that you eat. Carefully follow any special diet that your doctor gives you.

You should not use this medicine if you or your child have had an allergic reaction to yeast, yeast products, glycerin (glycerol), or papain.
