What is Terocin?
Terocin is a brand-name topical pain reliever for arthritis, back pain, muscle pain, joint pain, strains, nerve pain, tendonitis, and osteoarthritis. New Terocin Pain Lotion contains the active ingredients methyl salicylate, menthol, and camphor. Terocin patch contains lidocaine (4%) and menthol.
Methyl salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID, and is closely related to aspirin. It relieves pain by blocking substances that cause swelling.
