What is Tice Bcg?

This FDA-approved medication is used as a treatment for a certain type of bladder cancer known as carcinoma in situ (CIS). It may also be used to prevent another type of bladder cancer, known as a papillary tumor, from returning after surgery to remove it. Tice Bcg works by causing the body's defense system to become more active.

Tice Bcg vaccine is administered into the bladder through a tube known as a catheter.
