What is Vicks Babyrub?
Vicks Babyrub can be used on babies six months of age and older. It is gently massaged into the chest and stomach to help moisturize, soothe, and comfort your baby. Some versions of this product contain extract of Aloe Vera and fragrances of eucalyptus and Lavender to help create a soothing aroma for your baby. The active ingredients in this product are Petrolatum, turpentine, paraffinum liquidum, and aloe barbadensis leaf extract.
This medication is available in the form of a topical ointment meant for external use on the skin only. Wash and dry your hands before use. Use small amounts of this product to target specific areas such as the baby's arms and chest and gently massage. Avoid contact with eyes, and do not apply to the mouth or nostrils.
This product can be applied as many times as necessary. The health benefits of this product have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. It is not intended to treat, cure, prevent, or diagnose any medical condition.
What are the side effects of Vicks Babyrub?
