Can you drink on Prozac?

It’s generally not recommended to drink alcohol while taking Prozac. Mixing the two can increase drowsiness, worsen depression, and raise the risk of seizures or serotonin syndrome. While some long-term users may tolerate an occasional drink, the FDA label advises avoiding alcohol because even small amounts can cause unpredictable effects.
