This year, more than ever, it’s important to highlight the essential work that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians do. Amidst a global pandemic, these pharmacy staff members went above and beyond to make sure their patients could safely get the medications they needed—at prices they could afford. That’s why we’re honoring them this October, during American Pharmacists Month.
This summer, you sent in thousands of nominations, along with anecdotes about the people and places who took the time to show you they cared. Whether they helped you get a refill you couldn’t go without, or expanded drive-through services—the nominees and winners had your back when the whole world was worried about COVID-19. They went beyond the call of duty, and you noticed, and appreciated their efforts.
From these submissions, our Editorial Review Board (including our Chief Pharmacy Officer Ramzi Yacoub and a panel of last year’s winners) selected 15 winners and five honorable mentions for the second annual Best of the Best Pharmacy awards.
