Why do my prescription savings change?

There are some medications that you need month after month, like blood pressure pills or birth control. When your 30- or 90-day supply starts to run low, it’s time to head to the store to get your next fill. If you have a recurring prescription like this, you’re used to paying the same price every time. And, if you’re reading this, you’re probably used to saving money on your Rx using your SingleCare card.

This time, when you get to the pharmacy counter, your SingleCare savings are a little different. The pharmacy location, quantity, and medication have stayed the same. What gives?

At SingleCare, we continually evaluate our pricing based on market conditions and discounts that we’ve negotiated directly with pharmacies, to provide our customers with the greatest possible prescription savings. These factors can occasionally result in small price changes.

That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong, or that we’re not still working to help you feel better at the lowest possible cost.

When you bring the coupon to the pharmacy counter, the pharmacist or pharmacy technician enters the BIN and GRP number to process the coupon instead of insurance benefits. You can use SingleCare to save up to 80% on prescriptions instead of your insurance through your employer, Medicaid, or Medicare if our prices are cheaper than your copay—no strings attached.

If you ever have questions about your savings, we’re always here to help. You can call customer support at 844-234-3057. If your pharmacists need help applying your savings, they can call pharmacist support at 800-974-3135. Or, you can send us a message on Facebook. We want to help you save—always.
