The active ingredients in Aquoral and its current brand, 3M Xerostomia Relief, are glycerol triesters and oils, which together form a protective, lubricating barrier over the membranes in the mouth.
3M Xerostomia Relief is sprayed in the mouth when required. Aquoral should provide relief from dry mouth symptoms for three to four hours.
What are the side effects of Aquoral?
Aquoral's side effects were very minimal and rarely experienced. Allergic reactions are rare.
