What is Fycompa?

Fycompa is used to treat certain types of seizures, including generalized tonic-clonic seizures and partial-onset seizures with or without secondarily generalized seizures. Fycompa contains the ingredient perampanel, which belongs to a class of drugs called anticonvulsants. These drugs work to control or prevent seizures.

This drug is available in the following forms: tablets and an oral suspension. Fycompa is taken orally once a day, at bedtime.
