What is Symtuza?

Symtuza is a combination prescription drug that is used to treat the human immunodeficiency virus- 1 (HIV-1) in adults. This antiretroviral medicine contains darunavir, cobicistat, emtricitabine, and tenofovir alafenamide. HIV is a disease that causes acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS).

Do not use Symtuza if you are allergic to any of its ingredients (cobicistat/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide, and darunavir). If you are pregnant do not use Symtuza.
