What is Ultravate?

Ultravate (halobetasol propionate) is a brand-name prescription medication approved by the FDA for the treatment of skin conditions such as rashes, psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. This medication is a highly potent steroid that contains high amounts of corticosteroid. Ultravate is a topical steroid that reduces the redness, inflammation, and itching caused by skin conditions.
