What is Zydelig used for?

Zydelig is indicated for the treatment of non-hodgkin's lymphoma. It is also used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia and small lymphocytic lymphoma. It works by stopping the growth and spread of cancer in the body. Zydelig is indicated for use by adults and is available as a tablet.

How to take Zydelig

  • Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use. Do not use more than directed.

  • Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush, break, or chew it.

  • This medicine should come with a Medication Guide. Ask your pharmacist for a copy if you do not have one.

  • Missed dose: If you miss a dose, you may still take it up to 6 hours after the time you normally take it. However, if it is more than 6 hours, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

  • Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.

  • This medicine is not right for everyone. Do not use it if you had an allergic reaction to idelalisib, or if you are pregnant.

  • Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing

  • Blistering, peeling, red skin rash

  • Chest pain, trouble breathing

  • Dark urine or pale stools, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes

  • Severe diarrhea that may contain blood

  • Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, and body aches
