Mysoline is an antiepileptic drug used to control seizures. It works by controlling the abnormal electrical activity in the brain that occurs during a seizure.

Uses
  • Treats seizure disorders.
  • This medicine is not right for everyone. Do not use it if you had an allergic reaction to primidone or phenobarbital or if you have porphyria.
Directions
  • Take your medicine as directed. Your dose may need to be changed several times to find what works best for you. .
  • Shake the oral liquid well just before each dose. Measure the oral liquid medicine with a marked measuring spoon, oral syringe, or medicine cup.
  • Plan your doses so they are evenly spaced during the day. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions about when to take this medicine.
  • This medicine should come with a Medication Guide. Ask your pharmacist for a copy if you do not have one.
