Expanding SingleCare services with strategic partnerships

In the SingleCare Spotlight series, we highlight the people who make SingleCare possible. Whether they work to secure the best savings possible with our partner pharmacies or help send you cards through the mail, every employee at our company is focused on helping you save money on prescription medication.

What the average person may not realize is, there are many ways to use SingleCare savings beyond bringing your card (or the app) to the pharmacy counter. My team partners with clients outside of those channels to make sure there are as many ways to save as possible.

Many of our customers find out about SingleCare after receiving a card in the mail, seeing a stand in their doctor’s office, or watching a commercial on TV. I help to build and manage relationships that allow people to discover prescription discounts who aren’t learning about SingleCare services through those routes.

Our savings power other sites, like WebMdRx, so that people who may not have heard of SingleCare can still access the medications they need at lower prices. When you have an electronic prescription sent to the pharmacy, we work with the companies that manage your Rx to make sure SingleCare savings are available at the place and time you need them.

Outside of healthcare, we partner with savings sites to make it easy for people who are already active savers (and conscious of cutting costs) to take advantage of our programs. It’s all about providing access to our product in a place that people know and trust to save. My team manages our partner relationships like these, helps them to grow, and understands where we can optimize certain aspects.

I was part of the original startup team at SingleCare—I’ve been here since 2016. Before working here, I didn’t know anything about prescription savings… or even that you could save outside of using your insurance. It’s great to work for a company where I not only like the people I work with and what I do, but after a good day at work I know that I’m helping provide a service for those who need it.

It’s really rewarding that we’re creating a product that really helps people—it’s actually providing value to people who otherwise couldn’t afford their medications, and I think that’s an amazing thing.
