Helping you save, one email at a time

In the SingleCare Spotlight series, we highlight the people who make SingleCare possible. Whether they work to secure the best savings possible with our partner pharmacies or help send you cards through the mail, every employee at our company is focused on helping you save money on prescription medication.

You might be surprised to learn that the contact center answers more than phone calls. We’re the people who respond to SingleCare customer questions via email, chat, and even Facebook. My team and I focus on email inquiries that come in throughout the day.

We answer general questions—how to look up medications, how to find a drug coupon, or how to use the pharmacy savings card. And we tackle bigger issues, like if the price at the pharmacy counter doesn’t match what you saw online, or if a pharmacist doesn’t know how to process your savings. No matter what the problem is, a supervisor will assist the customer in having a smooth experience.

When I started at SingleCare, a little over a year ago, there was so much opportunity for growth. I’ve seen our department blossom from one small group to a full-service, 24-hour team. It’s been fun to see the expansion of our product and services from the inside. The most popular question used to be, “What is SingleCare?” Now that our commercial has increased awareness of the brand, we have people contacting us to request SingleCare cards. To see the overall growth of the company is beautiful.

Before I worked here, I didn’t know there were ways to save on prescriptions. I always thought it was insurance or the full price out-of-pocket. SingleCare has opened my eyes to prescription discount cards that can save you money—if your insurance doesn’t cover a medication, if your insurance copay is high, or if you don’t have insurance at all. When my mom visits from out of the country, SingleCare helps her save on her diabetes treatment while she’s here. It’s a huge benefit for international travelers who don’t have U.S. benefits.

They don’t have to sign up, or pay anything—except the price of the medication. Just go online, look for the name of a prescription, and get a coupon. Then, present the prescription and present the coupon. That’s it. One customer who contacted us was able to save over $300 on her medication with SingleCare. There aren’t any hidden fees. It’s that easy!
