What is Anecream?

Anecream is a non-prescription topical cream with lidocaine that relieves pain due to minor skin injuries, such as cuts, scrapes, insect bites, sunburn, first-degree burns, and skin irritations.The active ingredient in Anecream, lidocaine, is a local anesthetic that numbs the skin by shutting down nerve signals. As a result, Anecream temporarily relieves pain at the site of the skin injury.Anecream is sold as a 4% lidocaine and a 5% lidocaine formula, both available without a prescription. Anecream is applied to the affected area of the skin as a thin layer three to four times a day. Do not overuse this cream or apply it to large areas of the skin, raw surfaces, blisters, or serious injuries.

What are the side effects of Anecream?

Some but not all common side effects of Anecream are primarily site reactions to the active or inactive ingredients and include stinging, burning, itching, redness, or tenderness.
