Follow all the prescriber’s instructions.
Take Arnuity doses at the same time each day.
Take only one inhalation daily. Do not use it more often than that.
Please read the Patient Information sheet and Instructions for Use with the medicine.
Each inhaler comes with 30 doses. When first opened, the inhaler’s dose counter should read “30.”
To take a dose, open the cover of the inhaler all the way. It will click to signal a dose is ready to be taken.
Do not close the cover until you have taken a dose. If you do, the dose will be lost.
Looking away from the inhaler, breathe out fully to get as much air out of the lungs as possible.
Put the mouthpiece between your lips and close your lips firmly around it.
Do not cover the air vents with your fingers or hands.
Take one long, steady, deep breath in through your mouth.
Take your mouth off the mouthpiece and hold your breath for about three to four seconds.
Breathe out slowly and gently.
Close the inhaler. You can clean the mouthpiece using a dry tissue, but it’s not required.
When you have finished, rinse your mouth and spit out the water. Do not swallow the water.
When the inhaler dose counter reads “9,” it will show red in the margin. That means it’s time to refill the prescription.
Throw the empty inhaler away when the dose count reaches “0” or six weeks have passed since it was first opened.
Store the inhaler in a closed container at room temperature in a dry place protected from heat and light.
Take a dose as soon as you remember.
If it’s the next day, skip the missed dose.
Take the next dose at its regular time.
Do not take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.
