What is Ceramax?

Ceramax skin barrier cream is a brand-name prescription drug of skin barrier emollients drug class. Ceramax is used to relieve pain and manage burning and itching associated with atopic dermatitis, radiation dermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis, and other dry skin conditions. This medication is also used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, and scaly skin and minor skin irritations such as diaper rash It works by maintaining a moist skin and wound environment which helps with the healing process. Ceramax is non-greasy and contains, ceramides, cholesterol, and palmitic (fatty) acid.
