Dentagel is a mineral rinse used to prevent cavities and tooth decay caused by acid and bacteria. The active ingredient in this product is sodium fluoride. It works by strengthening the enamel of your teeth, making it more resistant to acid and bacteria.
This medication comes in the form of an oral gel and is usually used once daily just before bedtime. Brush teeth normally with your regular toothpaste and rinse as usual. Then apply a thin ribbon of Dentagel to your teeth with a mouth tray or toothbrush. Leave this medication for at least one minute and then spit out. Do not swallow this medication. Children should rinse their mouth thoroughly after use. For best results in adults, do not rinse your mouth, eat, or drink for at least thirty minutes after using Dentagel.
Use this product regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Read and follow the instructions provided on the product packaging before you start using this medication. If you are still uncertain about how to use this medication then talk to your doctor or pharmacist for additional information.
