What is Jinteli?

Jinteli is a combination prescription medication that is used to treat the symptoms of menopause including hot flashes and vaginal dryness in women who have an intact uterus. Jinteli contains two female hormones: an estrogen (ethinyl estradiol) and progesterone (norethindrone). The progestin in Jinteli helps to reduce the risk of cancer of the uterus which can be caused by using estrogen. Jinteli can be used as a stand-alone hormonal replacement therapy or along with other medications.

Do not use Jinteli if you are allergic to any part of this medication, if you are pregnant, or if you have undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, liver disease, or a bleeding disorder.
