What is Pliaglis?

Pliaglis is a combination of lidocaine and tetracaine. These two medications both belong to a class of drugs known as local anesthetics. It is used on the skin to prevent pain before certain medical procedures such as dermal filler injection, facial laser resurfacing, and laser-assisted tattoo removal. This medication works by briefly numbing the skin and the surrounding area.

This medication comes in the form of a topical cream. Do not use this medication on large areas of the body or cover the area with bandages or plastic.
