Zontivity is a prescription medication used to prevent platelets in the blood from sticking together and forming blood clots. It is FDA-approved and helps with a previous heart attack or blockage by reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke. It works by restoring blood flow to the heart. Zontivity is only available with a doctor's prescription and should only be used as prescribed. Zontivity is used together with aspirin or clopidogrel. You should take Zontivity with a glass of water and should be taken at regular intervals. You should speak to your doctor regarding the use of Zontivity with a child as special care may be needed.
