Adderall works by boosting brain chemicals that are underactive in people with ADHD, improving focus and impulse control. Specifically, it increases norepinephrine and dopamine, neurotransmitters involved in attention, motivation, alertness, and cognitive function, which helps people stay on task and better manage distractions.
