What is Casodex?

Casodex is a brand-name prescription drug that treats stage D2 metastatic prostate cancer, an advanced stage of prostate cancer in which the tumors have spread (metastasized) throughout the body, including lymph nodes, bones, and internal organs.

The male hormones, testosterone, and dihydrotestosterone are primarily responsible for causing prostate cancer tumors to grow.
