What is Tasigna?

Tasigna is a brand-name drug that treats chronic myelogenous leukemia, or CML, after initial diagnosis and in later stages of the cancer when it has not responded well to other similar drugs. The white cells produced by the tumor are immature and defective and eventually crowd out healthy white blood cells.
