An estimated 27 million Americans were uninsured in 2024, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Add to that the number of underinsured individuals (people who are insured but have high deductibles and high out-of-pocket expenses relative to their income), and you’re left with an ever-growing need for affordable healthcare options. That’s where SingleCare comes in.

What is SingleCare?

SingleCare is a free prescription savings service that can reduce prices up to 80% on your prescriptions.

We believe that you should be able to get the best price possible for your medications. And we want to help you do just that with our free Rx coupons. It’s that simple. We’ve been helping customers save on their prescriptions since 2015.

What are the benefits?

SingleCare provides discounted prescription prices that often save you more than your insurance copay. Plus, we make it easy to compare costs at local pharmacies. We offer convenient, quick access to savings on over 10,000 generic and brand-name prescription drugs, helping our customers manage their healthcare expenses.

So, what’s the catch? There is no catch! SingleCare doesn’t work like other discount programs that charge a fee or require signing up to save.

Who can use SingleCare?

Anyone can use SingleCare! You can use it if you don’t have insurance, or you can use it instead of your insurance. That includes Medicare and Medicaid. If you have insurance that covers prescriptions, you should compare our prices with your copay. If you don’t have insurance, you should compare our price with the out-of-pocket (or self-pay) price. SingleCare is not insurance, but it can beat the price of a prescription copay.

Registered members can save even more, and it’s fast and free to join! Just for signing up, you’ll also get $3 off the first eligible prescription you fill.

SingleCare cannot be used on non-pharmacy discounts like dental or vision exams.

How does it work?

It’s easy to check the cost of your prescriptions at singlecare.com or by using the SingleCare app (available for Android and iOS).

  1. First, enter your location.
  2. Then, type in your prescription name (our system will suggest drug names as you type).
  3. Once you’re on a drug page, you’ll need to select the specific dose and quantity from your prescription.
  4. Compare your options at nearby pharmacies.
  5. Simply choose the option that saves you the most and print the coupon or add it to your digital wallet.

To see if SingleCare offers a better price than your insurance copay, show your SingleCare card or coupon to the pharmacist before your prescription is filled. Ask them to show you the price for both options so you can compare.

Our price transparency charts show the average cash price compared to the average SingleCare coupon price across several pharmacies for the past year. See an example for Lipitor prices below:

There will be times when your insurance will offer a lower price, while there will be times when SingleCare offers the lowest price on the market. That’s why we encourage you to compare all options and choose the one that saves the most.
