What’s the cheapest way to buy prescription drugs?

SingleCare could be the cheapest way to buy your prescription. Before you go to the pharmacy, search SingleCare for your medication and compare prices at local pharmacies.

Many people assume that insurance automatically gets them the best price for their prescription, but that’s unfortunately not always the case. If you have insurance, ask your pharmacist to compare your insurance copay to the SingleCare price to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

The medications listed on this page are some of the cheapest prescriptions available with SingleCare.

What is SingleCare?

SingleCare offers free prescription drug discounts on thousands of medications. Use the website or app to look up your medication and compare discounts at pharmacies near you to get the best price.

There is no sign-up or subscription required, but you can unlock better discounts on prescriptions if you do register. SingleCare is accepted at the country’s largest pharmacies and grocers nationwide.

SingleCare is not insurance. It works whether you have health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or no insurance at all; however, you cannot use SingleCare in combination with insurance.

FAQs about saving with SingleCare

How does SingleCare work?

  1. First, go to singlecare.com or open the SingleCare app and search for your medication name.

  2. Next, enter your zip code and prescription details like the dosage, quantity, and form. This is an important step to get the most accurate price for your prescription! If you don’t adjust your prescription details, you may see a different price online than what you get at the pharmacy counter.

  3. Compare drug prices at pharmacies near you and choose your coupon. You can print it, save it to your phone, text, or email it. Show it to your pharmacist at checkout!

Repeat this process for each new prescription or refill!

Pro tip: You are never required to sign up for a SingleCare account, but there are a lot of perks to our free member savings program!

  • Registration is free.

  • We’ll save your prescription details for you so you don’t have to repeat step #2 for every refill.

  • You’ll unlock our lowest prices.

  • You’ll also earn extra savings for each prescription filled with SingleCare.

Is SingleCare legit?

We’re as legit as it gets! You can read SingleCare reviews here or on TrustPilot

If you run into any issues using SingleCare, you can call 844-234-3057 or email support@singlecare.com. We also have a dedicated line for pharmacists should they run into problems with SingleCare at the counter (800-960-6918).

How much does SingleCare cost a month?

SingleCare is completely free - always!

How do I get a SingleCare card?

Search for your medication on singlecare.com or download our app (available for iPhone and Android). Physical cards are less common now, but you can still request one here if preferred!

Is SingleCare better than other prescription discount cards?

SingleCare is one of several free discount cards for prescriptions. Sometimes you’ll get the best price with SingleCare, and sometimes your price with insurance or another card will be better. Prescription prices change daily, though, so it’s always best to compare prices before each refill. Whichever discount option had the best price last time, doesn’t mean it’s the lowest price today.

What makes SingleCare different than the rest?

  1. We work differently. SingleCare is powered by its own industry-leading technology, and we’ve built direct partnerships with pharmacies and grocers to negotiate prices rather than primarily relying on third-party PBMs.

  2. There’s no fine print. All SingleCare coupons are always available to people with or without insurance. Our discount card is reusable and never expires. Some competitors show savings options that require health insurance, limited-time deals, or other eligibility requirements set by drug manufacturers.

  3. SingleCare is always free. While some prescription discount services require a subscription fee to be a registered member, SingleCare coupons are free whether you’re registered or not.

  4. Prescriptions are our thing. We’re hyper-focused on improving access and adherence to affordable medications for millions of Americans. The SingleCare experience is simple. We don’t offer telehealth, mail order, or other health services. Simply look up your drug and get a discount in 10 seconds or less.

Can you use SingleCare with Medicare?

You can use SingleCare if you have Medicare but you cannot combine Medicare with a SingleCare discount. You have to choose one or the other.

If you choose to use SingleCare to save on a prescription, that out-of-pocket cost will not apply to your Medicare deductible.

SingleCare can be especially helpful to people on Medicare for drugs that are not covered by Medicare or drugs that require step therapy or prior authorization to fill.

Does SingleCare work with insurance?

You can still use SingleCare if you have health insurance coverage, but you cannot combine insurance with SingleCare coupons. You’ll have to choose just one savings method.

If you find that SingleCare saves you more money on a prescription, that out-of-pocket cost will not apply to your insurance deductible.

SingleCare can be particularly helpful to people with insurance for medications that are not covered by their health plan (such as GLP-1s for weight loss) or drugs that insurance requires step therapy or prior authorization to fill (like expensive new brand-name drugs).
